Clear your Safari cache on your iPad

Modified on Tue, 2 Jul at 3:03 PM

If you're encountering problems with Safari on your iPad, clearing the cache might resolve these issues.

To clear your cache in Safari on an iPad, follow these steps:

1. Open the Settings app.

2. Navigate to and select Safari.

3. In the Privacy & Security section, choose Clear History and Website Data.

4. Confirm your choice when the pop-up appears by tapping Clear History and Data.

Be aware that this action will delete all browsing history, cookies, and website data from your iPad, requiring you to log in again to websites and possibly losing saved passwords and preferences.

Should issues with Safari persist post-cache clearance, please let us know by submitting a ticket or calling our service desk.
