Export and import Google Chrome saved passwords

Export saved passwords from Google Chrome

  1. Click the Chrome menu  in the toolbar and choose Settings.
  2. Click Autofill > Passwords.
  3. Click  above the list of saved passwords and select “Export passwords”.
  4. Click “Export passwords”, and enter the password you use to log in to your computer if asked.
  5. Save the file


 Import passwords into Google Chrome

  1. Open up Chrome, go to passwords.google.com and sign-in to your Google Account if needed.
  2. Now, select Settings, the gear icon in the top right-corner.
  3. Then click on Import.
  4. Then, click Select File.
  5. Locate and select the . csv file you want, and then click on Import.
